Marcelo Cury is an engineer and entrepreneur who owns Cachoeirinha, a 17.7-hectare farm in the Cerrado Mineiro region, with 16 hectares dedicated to coffee production. Located at an altitude of 980 to 1050 meters above sea level, the farm benefits from favorable conditions. He acquired the property in 2012, and despite initial setbacks, including severe frost damage, Marcelo rebuilt his operations with improved farming practices and achieved success producing high-quality coffee.
Marcelo oversees daily operations on the farm and prioritises sustainable practices and efficiency. This year, he introduced fermented coffee production and invested in modern, environmentally friendly techniques to further enhance quality and protect the local ecosystem.
