  • This lot has been produced by Mareyla Fernandez, on his farm, La Nosha. Located in the highlands of Jaén, Cajamarca, La Nosha, sits at elevations between 1736 and 1760 masl, growing Bourbon de Colasay. The main crop season runs from May to September.

Mareyla Fernandez is part of a farmer collective organised by one of our partners, uniting local producers in the same community who share a dedication to producing high-quality coffee. This group, known as a Comité, collaborates to continuously improve the quality and consistency of their coffees and the parchment they deliver.

Mareyla personally harvests the coffee cherries from La Nosha, transporting them to his home where he undertakes the pulping, fermentation, and drying processes. Alongside coffee, he cultivates yuca, racacha, and maize for his family’s consumption.
