500g & 1kg: Kraft paper side gusset bag foil-lined with a degassing valve. Please note that the bag is without a zipper, and it is not resealable after opened.

This coffee comes from the Kiamugumo Factory, a member of the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society.

The New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society currently has 1,500 members. Kiamugumo factory is located in the Ngariama area, specifically in the Nyangeni sub-location of Kirinyaga County, on the slopes of Mount Kenya. To prevent contamination of local drinking water sources, all water used in the factory is treated in soak pits. The factory is managed by a factory manager and supported by permanent staff who handle duties such as weighing coffee, selecting and grading beans, paying farmers, and addressing their concerns.
 

Rich volcanic soil, nearly 1,700mm of annual rainfall, and the abundance of SL 28 and SL 34 varieties contribute significantly to the high-quality coffee produced in this area. The climate typically ranges from 12 to 25 degrees Celsius year-round. The production cycle follows a standard timeframe, with the main crop harvested from October through December/January and the fly crop harvested from April through June.
