Founded in 1985, the farm is named after Mrs. Feliciana Díaz, grandmother of producer Nixer Ordoñez, who inherited 16 hectares from her late husband. The farm is located in the Ayuyos sector, about 20 minutes from the New York annex (in Lonya Grande, Amazonas), at an altitude of 1,750 to 1,800 meters above sea level.
Today, the farm spans 8 hectares, including 3 hectares of preserved forest, 2 hectares in coffee production, and 3 hectares set aside for planting more coffee. Nixer's wife is a specialty coffee cupper, focusing on quality control and process improvement for both washed and natural coffees.
Nixer was born in the hamlet of New York, in Lonya Grande, Amazonas. He grew up with his grandparents, who were farmers. After completing his secondary education, he moved to Lambayeque in 2009 to pursue higher studies, where he graduated as a Certified Public Accountant. In 2014, after finishing university, he co-founded Norcafé Perú with 100 families, creating job opportunities in the coffee sector. He has since co-founded Gocta Coffee, the company through which we purchased this coffee.
